While every best effort is made by The Remnant Warehouse to adjust photos to be as close to the actual product as possible, please understand that each computer or wireless device will display images and colours differently. Furthermore, images may be affected by a number of factors, such as lighting, shininess and the texture of the fabric all produce different effects when photographed.
If you have specific requirements for your fabric or are unsure as to whether the colour, weight or stretch will suit your needs we recommend ordering a sample through our website before purchasing larger quantities, as there are no refunds or exchanges. Samples are a small finger snip size, charged at 60c per sample + postage & handling. Further information regarding samples can be found on our FAQ page.
We endeavour to keep our stock levels and website up to date, however as we are both a retail outlet and an online store there may be an occasion from time to time when there may be a short delay if a product has sold well and requires reordering from the supplier or an item may be cancelled if the stock has sold out and it is not able to be reordered. In these rare occasions a staff member from The Remnant Warehouse will contact you and give a recommendation for a suitable replacement, or you may obtain a credit for the item that is no longer available.
The Remnant Warehouse product range includes both stock service items that are “always available” as well as designer remnant rolls. If you require continuous stock then please ensure that you are ordering a stock service item. Once a designer remnant fabric has sold out it normally cannot be restocked.
Designer fabrics will vary from roll to roll in terms of weight and quality, so again we recommend ordering samples, as two fabrics with the same name and different colours does not necessarily indicate the same content, weight and feel.
Minimum cuts apply for the following products:
Fur - 20cm (as finger snip samples are not provided)
Patchwork Cottons- 30cm
All other fabrics and trims- 1m
Fabrics are cut in continuous lengths where possible, and if there is a join then extra cms are given to allow for the join. For larger items it is not always possible to provide as a continuous piece. If you have any requirements for minimum lengths, please indicate this in your order comments and we will endeavour to accommodate your request, however we cannot always guarantee that these lengths are available. We do not normally cut more than one length for the fabric where possible, so if cuts are required at specific intervals please enquire with our staff as to whether this is available (cutting fees apply).
By purchasing from The Remnant Warehouse, you understand that there will be no refunds, credits or exchanges if the product ordered does not match your requirements.
The Remnant Warehouse is unable to provide laundering instructions and cannot be held responsible for care of fabrics once they leave the store. The Remnant Warehouse recommends testing a small amount of fabric first as there are no returns or exchanges. By ordering from The Remnant Warehouse the customer acknowledges that there will be no fabric care or laundry instructions provided and understands that they are ultimately responsible for the care of fabrics once they leave the store.
Our orders are shipped through Australia Post eParcel, Express eParcel or a courier service and will require a signature on delivery, unless otherwise requested. If you are not available to sign for it, a card will be left by the driver with instructions on how to obtain your parcel. If you have not claimed your parcel within 10 days your order will be returned to The Remnant Warehouse and you will be subject to pay the shipping & handling fee again to have your order re-sent out to you.
Please note that delivery timeframes start from the date that your order leaves our shop, and orders ship on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays. Express does not necessarily mean guaranteed overnight delivery, as this depends on Australia Post's delivery network and when your order leaves the shop. Some orders may take more than one day processing time if a fabric is on back order or unable to be located.
